Frequently Asked Question

AeroAdmin can't get online, why?
Last Updated 5 months ago

AeroAdmin works on Dynamic local TCP ports, and it connects to 443, 5665, 8080, 80 remote TCP ports. In the case that AeroAdmin is stuck on "Connecting to Authorization Server" or "Encrypting connection" it's 100% a firewall related issue!

How to solve it?

  • Make sure you're using the latest AeroAdmin version and build. Click in menu Help --> Check for updates.

  • For private users and running AeroAdmin in your home network:
    • Go to Extras --> Settings --> Network in the AeroAdmin menu. In the section titled Authorization Server, please set the IP to be 89.40.115.70 and Port to be 5665.
    • Click on Connection --> Restart in the AeroAdmin menu.
    • The icon at the bottom-left corner of the AeroAdmin app should turn green and show that it is ready to start a connection.
    • If the icon does NOT turn green, please try disabling your Antivirus software temporarily, to check if the AV may be blocking the connection.
    • If turning off your antivirus solves the connection problem for AeroAdmin, please complete this form.
    • If you still encounter connection problems with AeroAdmin, please create a ticket here so that we may investigate it.

  • For business users and running AeroAdmin in a corporate network:
    • Most likely AeroAdmin and other new software programs are blocked by your system administrator.
    • Please contact him and ask to allow hosts range in the corporate Firewall from auth10.aeroadmin.com to auth20.aeroadmin.com.
    • Go to Extras --> Settings --> Network in the AeroAdmin menu. In the section titled Authorization Server, please set the IP to be 89.40.115.70 and Port to be 5665.
    • Click on Connection --> Restart in the AeroAdmin menu.
